安华从1993年建立到现在， 学校的教学地点几经搬家。其中的原因是多方面的，包括学校规模、空间限制以及租金昂贵等等。甚至曾经出现过几次“教室危机”，找不到可租用场地，面临全校听课的窘境。现用租用的WCC场地虽然满足了教学的需要，但没有人可以保证我们永久地用下去，也远远满足不了蓬勃发展的社区各项活动和逐步扩大的各种课后教学。

安华的理想校舍应该包含如下的房间 (An ideal facility should have)： 10-12个教室 (10-12 classrooms)； 1个可以举办一定规模的活动场地， 大约有2,000 - 4,000平方英尺 (some area for cummnity event, ~2000-4000 sqft)； 1个办公室 (1 office)； 1个会议室 (1 meeting room)； 1或多个储藏室 (1 or more storage room)； 此外，如果有其他用途的房间就更好 (Additionally, it would be nice to have following)。 图书室 (library)； 老师休息室 (teacher's launge)； 小厨房 (small kitchen)。

2002-2003年，安华中文学校董事会决定开始筹备资金为购买校舍做准备 2004年起，安华提高学费（中文课$20/年，文化课$10/年），专门用于购房资金储备。 2016年，安华中文学校最高权力机构家长大会投票通过，1）授权董事会代表安华中文学校购买和建设适合学校的房产；2）授权董事会使用不超过25万美金的储备基金用于校舍购建；3）授权董事会贷款用于校舍购建； 4）授权董事会向社会募集捐款用于校舍购建、还贷及后续开发
